My husband's death benefit was sent to his account. It was pending for post on April 1. The deposit never posted and they will not tell me what they did with the deposit. Social Security will deposit it to my account if the return it to them but so far it has not been returned. This money was supposed to be for me but apparently account now has decided to keep my 255.00

I got an account now card, and before I used it, I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did, you guys have been very helpful. However, if you want a prepaid visa or mastercard, I suggest greendot. You can get them at CVS, or walmart, and its a whole lot cheaper, with direct deposit. I got my tax refund on it and had absolutely no problems with it. I will now cut up my account now card

I HAVE NOT HAD TO MUCH TROUBLE YET. I DONT LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU CANT NEVER GET A LIVE PERSON. DO ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN GET A LIVE PERSON?

BE CAREFUL WITH ACCOUNT NOW! While I had no real huge problems like some above- there were a lot of suprise fees, they charge anytime you call - they charge for statements, however the BIGGEST problem is it is almost impossible to close the account. They will tell you to "Get your card to ZERO, then call back to cancel." This ends up being a game, however, since when you get it to zero, they will add a fee and it will go negative in balance, and you cannot close the account. I finally just told them to keep the 20 dollars remaining on my account, and CLOSE it or I'd file a BBB complaint. It was only then, after 8 weeks of trying to close the account that they finally did. BE CAREFUL. ** ALSO - their log on is not very secure, all anyone needs is your Social Security info and you zip code to access your account online. BE CAREFUL! Account Now froze my account on Monday, May 24,2010. When I called I was told it was frozen due to "suspicious activity" on my account. I had recieved a refund on my card that they flagged my account for. I was asked to fax in documents, which I promptly did. I received a fax confirmatioon tuesday morning from sending them in to Acct. Now. I was told that my funds would be released by wednesday morning, they were not. I called, a representative in the risk deptartment informed me that they were in review and would be released to me that afternoon. They were not. I called this morning (thursday, May 27) I was AGAIN told that they were in review. I was also told that my fax hadnt been received until Wednesday even though I discussed the fax with a representative on Tuesay! So they just bought themselves another 24 hours with my money....I am 6 months pregnant and high risk. As of now I have no money, no gas, and my phone bill that is usually debited from my account now card was unable to process because of this. We are coming up on a holiday weekend, I rescheduled my ultrasound appt 3 times this week because I was promised that my money would be available. Every rep I talk to tells me something different. I am terrified of being home on a 3 day weekend without ANY money and my phone being disconnected. This company is shady, I feel like they are stealing from me.

I have been a member of account now for two years and have never had a problem. Yes it is true that I only use them for direct deposit, but they always post the money correctly I know about the fees and I never had my tax return deposited to my account. and if you wait on the phone to a certain option you can speak with a representative for a 2.00 fee. I love the card.

I signed up with the company to post ads and they would pay me direct deposit to my account now then suddenly $164 was taken as a prepaid debit remove funds transaction and I never authorized it. The time said 140am and I was asleep at that time. I was told customer service was closed over weekend and I hope they can do something because that was my last monies. I want to file class action if they dont !!

Thank you, thank you, thank you; for taking the time to comment on this company. I am a struggling single mom who has enough problems right now. I definitely did not need to get caught up with this company. I will tell about this to others. My son and I really thank you.
