an acct now visa acct was opened in my name by a tax preparer so the refund could be deposited into the acct by the IRS. she opened acct in my name and removed her fees. that was our agreement. after 5 withdrawals made by her accountnow flagged account and sent it to the risk dept for review.I was told that the account she opened was not accepted so i applied for another card. after 1 month of waiting I called acct now to see why i could not access info about my acct. I spoke to risk dept and i was told there was money on a card i did not have. i had to fax documents numerous times and still they held my money. it has been 2 months and still no money. acct now does not verify anything when they allow people to open accts and deposit money but they try to find 100 ways to keep your money in the account. I will NEVER use their services again.

HAS ANYONE EVER SPOKE TO THE MANAGER? I AM REALLY CURIOUS TO KNOW BECAUSE I WAS VERY ANGRY DEMANDING A SUPERVISOR AND I WAS TRANSFERRED TO STEVE SANDERSON (THE MANAGER). HE DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING THE ONLY THING HE TRIES TO DO IS COVER HIS OWN ASS. THEY THINK THEY ARE SO SMART AND GET A THRILL OUT OF THEIR PATHETIC WAYS OF AGGRIVATING PEOPLE. ONE DAY THEY ARE GOING TO PISS OFF THE WRONG PERSON!!!! I HAVE SPOKE TO ALMOST EVERY EMPLOYEE THERE AND THEY ARE ALL INCREDIBLY STUPID!!!!!!!!I DID FIND OUT THAT THE REAL MANAGER THERE IS NAMED MR. RASKINS. HE IS NEVER AVAILABLE BUT THE STUPID ONES GET REALLY SURPRISED WHEN U ASK TO SPEAK TO HIM. IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT ANYONE HAS TO DEAL WITH THIS DRAMA AND I AM NOT GOING TO JUST LET THIS GO. I HAVE AN ATTORNEY AND SHE ISSUED A DEMAND FOR PAYMENT LETTER YESTERDAY.THEY SAY THEY DIDNT RECEIVE THE FAX BUT TODAY ACCT BALANCE IS $0.THEY SAY CHECK WAS ISSUED YESTERDAY. WOW. My husband and I have been customers of Account Now for over two years. We have never had one moments trouble with our card or account and we're on direct deposit. Our average monthly deposits range between $4000 to $6000 and have never had trouble accessing our money or erroneous debits. Also, Customer Service has always been polite, prompt and efficient. I'm at a loss at all the bad rep for the company. I don't understand!

I am still waiting for my check to be processed.Now steve tells me that the letter from my attorney means nothing and that the check is still in process and that I will receive it y the 16th of july. I am so angry and frustrated I don't know what to do. If someone who had a similar problem like mine ever DID or STILL HAVEN'T received their money will you please write back and let me know. I do have 2 numbers for account now. customer service is 1-866-925-2036 and the risk dept(aka corporate office) is 1-866-398-3307. The second number is where you will speak to Dakota, Nathan, Veronica,Steve, and other improperly trained employees. The actual real manager of this office is Mr.Raskins. They probably will tell you different but he is the manager. He is the one you submit a formal written complaint to. good luck and please let me know how things turned out for you. thanks alot.

I am also having a problem. Three transactions holds one of which the rental car company got their payment. Two are still on in which Alamo rental sent them a fax to release the hold. It has been two weeks of a ongoing battle to get my money back. They keep giving me the run around that their waiting for confirmation of the person who fax the paper work for the release. Are you kidding me. The policy clearly states that they will release the hold if they receive a written statement from company to release the funds. A scam to keep my money. I do not recommend account now. Class Action I am in!

I got my return put on the card and did not have any problems what so ever. I like the fact that they do not charge you to use the card . One downside is the fact you can only take off a grand a day other than that I think it is cool oh if you want to make some $ with their refferal program use the code" cayouth " then email me at miplug09@gmail.com I will show you how to get paid through them

Account Now is a complete fraud and scam. They could care less about identity theft and internet fraud. Someone opened an account with my info and they wont close the account and investigate the fraud unless I have the card in hand. They are promoting FRAUD. total SCAM

I have had my Account Now card for a year...The problem I am having is I just started the "Bill Pay" and Account Now is not sending the checks to my creditors when they say they will. In fact, Account Now has changed the dates that they "supposedly" shipped these checks on to cover themselves...One check was issued on 7-6-10 when I had input it be shipped on 7-2-10; another to be shipped on 7-9-10 was not shipped until 7-12-10, BOTH checks STILL HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVED BY THE CREDITOR and it is 2 weeks later and neither checks have arrived....BE CAREFUL, folks...Account Now either does not have the manpower to run their operation or there is downright Fraud going on within their operation....Also, my Father has an account with Account Now, and has tried to close his account and retrieve his nearly $10,000 he had in this account for 2 months now, and STILL has not gotten his money out yet.
