Maxbounty.com MaxBounty Consumers & customers reviews, comments, possible complaints
Maxbounty.com description:Affiliate Sign-up: We are proud to offer some of the highest affiliate payouts in the industry among competing ad networks. We welcome you to create an affiliate account and compare our rates with others. We strive to provide the highest possible payouts to affiliates.
Merchant Sign-up: Allow us to advertise your website via our network of affiliates on a Cost-Per-Action (CPA) model. Our ad rates are significantly lower than other networks, allowing your ad dollars to go where it should... in the hands of the high quality affiliates generating your leads, resulting in more traffic for you.
Maxbounty.com Comments & reviews:JP Sauve was so disgruntled about the treatment he received from affiliate networks - as an affiliate and as a merchant - that he decided to start his own affiliate network, MaxBounty.
He has a dream - fair payouts for affiliates.
"I've seen most networks keep half the amount I could pay for a lead, some even more, giving affiliates a very watered down payout," JP says.
"We ran a CPA (cost-per-action) campaign with one particular network paying a total cost of $1 per lead. They offered their affiliates only 40 cents CPA, pocketing 60 cents for themselves out of every lead. That's ridiculous, almost criminal.
"I know of someone running with a big network right now paying out $40 per sale of his product, and the network is paying out only $22 to the affiliate. The affiliate does all the hard work generating the sale, takes the risks, and more often than not he doesn't walk away with his fair share of the profits."
JP says the idea behind MaxBounty is to pay affiliates as much as absolutely possible - with no set-up fees for merchants, and network rates of between 15% and 30% depending on the offer.
"So far the merchants are all people that I've done business with over the years," JP says. "I tell everyone in advance that while our network rates will be lower, we don't want them to simply pocket the difference. We want that money to go to the affiliate."
He says two of his merchants were so gung-ho about the idea they've offered to pay more than they are to other networks running their campaigns.
So far a small number of merchants have signed up. A handful more have shown interest.
"Right now it's freebies and sweepstakes campaigns, as these are the people I've worked with before. Next are financial and educational offers, again people I've worked with. From there, who knows? We'll list any offer that'll provide a good return for our affiliates," he says.
"It seems that finding merchants will be no problem ... The real problem will be in getting the affiliates. Unless we can get a half decent volume of affiliates, the dream won't happen."

Here is an important note I found on the site:
MaxBounty has a generous webmaster referral program. You can make 5% of the earnings of any webmaster that you refer to MaxBounty for their FIRST YEAR.

Maxbounty.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsUnfortunately, Mr. Nabaza has not provided a complete description of the situation. I am not going to begin levelling accusations at him, though. To prevent a my-word-against-his scenario, I simply ask that you go to your favorite browser, and search for MaxBounty. The reputation of my company will stand on its own. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you.
