Posted by: brenda m, wall April 11, 2005, 1:50 pm Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsThe concept is great but I have yet to receive my first commision deposit from last month's sales. They also need some humans to talk to for customer service. One of my customer's is having a severe problem because they ported his number days ago but he has not received the new phone. When I called Foncentral's customer service, they told me FedEx had it and when I call FedEx they said to call Foncentral. Posted by: Diedra Levi May 26, 2005, 3:41 pm Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsI have very negative experience with telebay. They promise, but don't pay. Please read details in there: http://home.comcast.net/~yvk/telebay.html Posted by: Yuliya August 24, 2005, 5:33 pm Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsHi, I'm actually the CEO of Telebay. I wanted to post a response to a couple posts above. First, in response to Deidra -- I gave a cursory review of your commission record for the past 90 days in your back office. I see that in the past 90 days (you've made over $200). I've not gone back any further than that... but I believe you were also paid for these FonCentral accounts that you mention, in April (accoding to the ticket records in our help desk). Also, so you know, FonCentral was bought out by another company at the time you experienced the delay in your commissions -- we also experienced problems with them during this time, but were able to get it worked out. We now sell cellular (post-pay) through another source(s). Second, regarding Yuliya's post... I'll start by saying, that this person is still an active rep with us... in fact, she logged into her back office just 2 days ago and still appears to be selling with us. I sent her an email regarding her very negative post (at the link she references). Here it is for those of you who are concerned about the situation: First of all, I think you have been very unfair in your criticisms about Telebay -- especially considering that you are still an active Rep. I'd like to respond to some of the things you've said on this page: 1) You link to the TelebayHelp.com page to somehow prove how we are scamming you and ripping you off, yet the person who reads the tickets will see that (A) We paid you $106.52 via PayPal -- on 7/27/2005. (B) Regarding the set of orders we were paying you commissions on, 2 of 4 were placed in May of 2005... meaning, your commissions were paid to you in two months since those orders (not 6). (C) The OfficeMax order was placed in March -- and you claimed that the commissionable (the purchase amount) was $175.35 -- yet, after researching why OfficeMax didn't pay according to this amount, we discovered that not only was the order for only $108, but there was also a $40 coupon applied to the order (the $40 is not commissionable) and some of the customer's items were cancelled off the order. (D) On June 24, 2005 we confirmed your commission on the Buy.com order placed in March, as well as the order with Dell placed in May (just one month previous to the order being placed). (E) The tone of the entire set of tickets shows clearly that we were working through each of these issues in order to get you paid. (F) Your impatience was partly due to the fact that you did not seem to understand what we've stated many times: mall commissions typically are paid 60-90 days after purchase. They are not paid the next day, or the following week, or even the same month. This is not something we've hidden. There are over 300 vendors in the mall and we have to process commissions from all of them. Not to make excuses, but in March 2005 the mall was in just its 4th month of existence. We told you (and all our reps) that there may have been a few glitches... and we promised to resolve them... in your case, we did. Also, as you know, we switched from another ticket software provider -- because it was incapable of helping us to organize and properly follow up with every ticket request we recieved in the way we'd like. So you know, we also let go the support staffer who was originally taking care of your ticket in the old help desk. 2) Regarding VoipNet. As you know, we've removed VoipNet from our site precisely because of their reporting issues. I just searched our tickets system to see if you submitted a ticket for VoipNet, but I do not see one. If you do not show VoipNet customers in your reports, this is because your customers do not show in the reports we've received from VoipNet. Such is the problem -- and why we've removed them. If your customers do not show in the reports we receive from them, then this means we don't make money of them either. The knee jerk reaction you've exhibited in labeling us as a fraud and scam, just does not hold water. 3) We paid you for your Vonage account, not because you contacted us -- but because the commission had been processed and paid out. If you contacted us regarding Vonage, you simply did so previous to the typical commission processing for this service. 4) You are receiving your Packet8 commissions as promised, as well. 5) Out of 5 issues you've listed, 3 were paid. 1 (VoipNet) is thus far out of our hands (and to my knowledge, you've not brought it to us before) and the last issue, regarding your ISP customers -- I don't know anything about this and you've not brought it up in the help desk, that I can see. If you'd like to do so, please do. Second, Posted by: Brad Edwards November 30, 2005, 1:34 am Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsHi, I would like to first say I have been an Rep for Telebay since Sept, and I myself feel somethings aren't all Ok! First they have no traffic stats which I feel is a must for Reps to be able to know where the Traffic is coming from all there advertising campaigns, which I'm sure all Reps would agree!, that's a must have!, and at times I feel all my advertising I do on daily bases is for nothing because of it, and in a way makes me feel, that Telebay could be being dishonest by not having the traffic stats availiable in the reps back office!!! I know myself I feel used,I mean were talking a Mega Mall 326+ stores and businesses, thousands of products, now I know if I advertised like Walmart offline to the real live store and the advertising got them to go there!, what,s the chances that 1,000's are going to go there and leave without spending a dime??? Now the point I'm trying to make is I can't say Telebay are scams or fraud! I have no real prove! but like I said, I know since Sept I have probablly sent 100's of thousands to the Telebay Mall and there other services, and yet have only made, that I can see $2.19 and I have looked every where, back office, new back office, even in the commission area, and I have not yet found where it came from!!! But I feel Telebay is one huge business that I just can't give up on yet!, I just feel something is not right with my url, or something else!! and I know if I had traffic stats availiable it would make me feel way at ease, and there is a lot of Scams on the net, and the worst I have found is advertising places, but don't see complaint sites for all of them!!!! and Brad if you see this, I hope you would take in concideration seeing your still working on are new offices to put in Live stats for your Reps, we can't keep advertising in the Dark!!! I'm sure your not!!! it's for your benifit too, because we can see what's working and what's not on are advertising campaigns. And far as the tickets go,I know I won't use them anymore, maybe it was bad people handling them before, but as an affiliate, associate or Rep, if I can't get straight answers to my concerned questions then why bother, I got better things to do! But like Brad said, there were some glitches and other things, and I feel that anyone who is receiving commissions, then comes here and complains is totally out of there mind!!! and there account should be terminated!!! and I sure wouldn't blame Brad for that!!! but like I said there is something wrong at my telebay rep system because I do the same advertising for all my 43 affiliate and associate programs and yet telebay I only get a few recruits and no sales, but yet I'm not bashing them I just know there's a problem with my acct. somewhere and I don't know how to find out what it is!!! I was going to hire a url tracking place but they said it was illegal to track a site that wasn't owned by me!! so I just have to trust there's a glitch some where with my acct! Thanks for your time !!! Dave. Posted by: Dave Mc Govern March 3, 2006, 5:19 am Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsI started building my downline in May 2006 just after I received a commission check for $54.53. It took me by surprise since I had done nothing but sign up. Three customers found my website that I had FREE-submitted to the search engines.
Since May of 2006, I have added 59 (as of today) new associates/friends and it continues to grow almost every day!
I thank Telebay for making this opportunity available. I had given up on this type marketing approach due to the fees, etc., that most charge. Some let you sign up for FREE, then hit you with other 'hidden' charges.
Telebay is free all the way through, except that you are responsible for building your business and making sales. This is called 'effort' and this is all it 'costs', if you want to call it that.
My emails are normally answered FAST by contacting support@telebay.com or supporthelp@telebay.com.
It is not GET RICH QUICK so be ready to hang in there for a while and build a business! It costs nothing as far as money is concerned, so be thanksful, as I am, that Telebay has given us such a wonderful opportunity that would not be there for many of us if it were not for Telebay! Thanks Telebay! Email me with any questions or comments! -Bill Allen Posted by: Bill Allen July 8, 2006, 1:13 pm Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsI am a HUGE fan of Telebay. I have over 50 people in my organization. I have received my commissions since about 2003. I am about to make a huge sale that will net Telebay 4,000 new customers! This should add about $10,000 in commissions to me monthly using Packet8's bpublic-username coupon code. I believe that Brad has good intentions. He communicates with his reps honestly and openly... he has for years. This is the kind of track record that I believe in. It's def not the kind of hyped of stuff that you'll see in Quxtar or 5Linx. But it pays. So I'm grateful for the vision that Brad has had. Posted by: douglas g August 1, 2008, 8:41 pm Telebay.com Latest customers & affiliates reviews, comments, possible complaintsI wanted to let all know that my commissions are blocked from over an year now... and the reason was that one of the representative of Telebay left the organization and she was dealing with my account... and after that I keep asking from Telebay but no one responded properly... Even the Telebay Help people didnt even responded to my tickets once.... I would like the CEO of Telebay to respond to me and give me explanation what happened with my case....
