Protein found in real food like chicken, fish, eggs and lean red meat is not denatured and releases slow and steady into the blood - the exact opposite of whey protein. Whole food carbohydrates like brown rice, oatmeal, barley, sweet potatoes are not refined or processed and enter the blood in a controlled steady state.
